If you're in search of a bit more refinement than our Stage 1 kit can offer, then this Stage 2 kit may be right up your alley. This kit includes our Shifter Rocker Upgrade (1932), Short Throw Adapter (1923), Shifter Centering Spring Upgrade (1918), Shifter Base Bushings (1930), and Shift Linkage Bushing Upgrade (1881). After installing this kit, you should notice a substantial change in shifting feel. Expect narrower gates, shorter throws, a substantial reduction in that "mushy" feeling at the end of shifts, as well as snappier centering action.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Use of the ESCO knob may result in the improper fitment of the shift boot under the shift knob. This can be corrected using one of our 1924 Boot Collar Upgrade kits.

ACUITY Instruments LLC ships all orders on the next business day. This means that if you purchase the "next day" shipping option, next day shipping will go out the next day, meaning a total transit time of 2-days. Similarly, 2-day shipping takes 3 days since the order is filled the next day. If you require faster shipping, we recommend you contact one of our vendors that carries inventory.

Everyone loves lots of shipping options! We offer USPS, UPS, and FedEx shipping options for domestic (within the United States) shipments and USPS, UPS, FedEX and DHL for international shipments. Package Insurance Theft Policy

Acuity Instruments LLC insures all shipments against damage or loss while in transit. Please note that standard shipping insurance does not cover theft after delivery.

In the event a shipment is stolen immediately after delivery, we offer a one-time order replacement under the following conditions:

    • File a Police Report: The person who is marked as the recipient on the shipping label must file a theft report with their local police department within 3 business days of the original delivery date.
    • Submit Proof: Email a copy of the official police report to support@acuityinstruments.com.
    • Confirmation of Report Authenticity: Acuity Instruments reserves the right to confirm the authenticity of the report with the issuing policy department before shipping replacement item(s).

Once the police report has been received and authenticated, we will ship your replacement order. Important: In the event of post-delivery theft, Acuity Instruments LLC reserves the right to issue a replacement only. Refunds will not be granted.

How to request your package require signature for delivery:

If you wish to add "signature required" services to an upcoming order, you must contact us at support@acuityinstruments.com prior to ordering to request a custom invoice that includes the service. Do not place the order through the website. An additional fee is required if you wish to add this service to your shipment. This fee varies based on the carrier, delivery address, and the type of signature requested (indirect, direct, or adult only). Not all destination addresses are eligible for all "signature requested" services. Customers may not request the addition of "signature required" services on orders they have already placed.

Free Shipping Options:

Occasionally we offer shipping specials where orders over a certain amount are free. If we are offering this, you will see the free shipping option in your cart at checkout. If no options is visible at checkout, then either there is currently no free shipping offer or you are not in a zone that qualifies for free shipping. Most states in the continental USA qualify when a shipping special is being ordered. There is no choice of carrier for free shipping, but typically we will ship your order will likely ship using either USPS or FedEx. If you'd like a faster delivery, you can opt out of the Free Shipping option in favor of a faster, paid, shipping option.

Taxes on International Shipments:

It is against Acuity's policy to falsify tax documents during the shipment of goods to locations outside of the USA. The tax documents for your shipment will reflect the price you paid for the parts. Please do not contact us requesting us to falsify tax documents so that you do not have to pay taxes on the shipment as we cannot do this.

Guaranteed Times by Carriers and Related Reimbursements:

On some shipping services, like USPS Priority Express, the service provider (USPS, UPS, DHL etc) will offer a shipping reimbursement if the order does not arrive on time. ACUITY does not assume responsibility for tracking these matters. If you suspect your service may have a delivery-time guarantee and was delivered late, please contact us with the order # and delivery info. Please note that a full refund is typically not provided by the carrier. ACUITY does not offer full reimbursement of shipping costs, but ACUITY will pass on 100% of any reimbursement for shipping costs from the carrier to the customer.

Domestic Transit Times:

For orders shipping within the continental USA, USPS First Class shipments will usually take around 5-7 business days for delivery. USPS Priority usually takes closer to 2-4 business days, and Priority Express usually takes about 2 business days. Your exact transit time will vary based on your location. 

International Transit Times:

USPS First Class International shipping is very economical, but the transit time can be very slow. Please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery of orders shipped via USPS First Class International. USPS Priority mail is typically faster, normally taking closer to 2 weeks. USPS GXG is faster still, typically taking only about 1 week. Your exact transit times will vary depending on your location, and it is possible that your exact transit time will exceed the values provided here. Shipping Reconciliation Times:

Although ACUiTY Instruments makes every effort to ensure accuracy of shipped orders, it is not unrealistic that periodically, incorrect items may be shipped. ACUiTY allows 10 calendar days from the date of delivery for customers to make a claim to reconcile incorrect, lost, or damaged shipments. After 10 days from the date of delivery, orders will no longer be eligible for reconciliation.

*Holiday Closures:

ACUiTY is closed on a number of holidays to provide a positive experience for its employees. Holiday closures include New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday After, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve. For holidays that fall on a weekend, we will be closed on the Friday preceding the holiday. Any orders placed on a weekend or during a holiday closure will be shipped on the next business day that we are open.

All ACUITY products are covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturer defect. Please keep a copy of your receipt as a proof of purchase when contacting ACUITY with a warranty request. Please do not ship back any merchandise without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Contact ACUITY to receive an RMA number.

 

Returns

Customers are responsible for all return shipping charges. Please do not ship back any merchandise without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Contact ACUITY to receive an RMA number.  ACUITY permits returns with no fees if the product is returned within 14 days of delivery, if it is unopened and in its original packaging. If the product has been removed from the original packaging, has not been installed in any way, and requires repackaging but is in 100% sale-able condition (to be determined by ACUITY) a restocking fee will be assessed in an amount equal to the greater of $5 or 10% of the cost of the product. ACUITY will not refund any shipping and handling fees related to a returned purchase. Valid proof of purchase must be provided to receive an RMA number. Any purchases made through one of ACUITY's vendor's are subject to that vendor's return policies. ACUITY cannot accept the return of an item purchased through a vendor without the consent of ACUITY and said vendor. Please Note: If 2 items were ordered and the order qualified for free shipping, but the return of 1 of the 2 items brings the new invoice amount (after your refund) below $100, the original cost of shipping will be debited from your refund, since the order would no longer be eligible for free shipping.

 

 

10th Gen Accord Stage 2 Shift Kit

This kit is designed to deliver the ultimate 10th Gen Accord shifting experience. The short throw adapter and rocker upgrade help to reduce both gear throw (foward/back motion) and gate spacing (left/right motion) while stiffening up gear engagement and lateral feel. The shift cable bushings and shifter base bushings help to remove unwanted compliance from OEM rubber bushings to help remove flex while improving tactile feel. The upgraded centering spring helps to quicken centering action for a snappier feel  while removing unwanted lateral play while in gear or in neutral.  Add one of the optional shift knobs or shift boot collars to further customize the feel and style of your shifter.  Optional install tools are an affordable way to help to protect your plastic trim panels during removal.

Note that 10th Gen Accords will require use of one of our 1924 shift boot collars to hold the shift boot up when using an aftermarket knob like our ESCO or ESCO-T6 design.

I recently finished installing this kit in my 2019 Honda Accord Sport 2.0t, I started with the shift cable bushings, changing my transmission fluid, and installing a cold air charge pipe in the process, next, with the shifter base removed from the body (allowing the shifter base to be raised), I installed the short throw adapter, then I installed the shifter base bushings, taking my time, and using one of my panel removal tools to hold the assembled front bushing together (hugging the threaded side of the screw) while slightly threading the screw to the bottom, the rear bushings are much easier, I finished off the install with the centering spring and rocker upgrade. Shifting is now much shorter and responsive, everything was installed with no issue, take your time, especially with the shifter base bushings, and installation should be a breeze.

Amazing first mod!!

I've been waiting to get this kit for so long and when the black friday sale started, i decided to pull the trigger. I was not prepared for how nice and refined this was going to feel. install took around 3 hours but that's including smoke breaks lol. the instructions are very detailed and i only had to watch a video to figure out how to remove the little blue cap on the bottom of the shifter. holy fuck was that thing a bitch to take off. other than that, if you are confident enough, you can get this mod done, super easy. it feels like a gated shifter and getting from 2nd to 3rd is a breeze with this new centering spring. it finally feels like a shifter and not a toy. please do yourself a favour and get this kit. amazing engineeres over there at Acuity. still have to install the shift linkage bushings but even without them, this shift feels amazing! Thank you Acuity!

Improve driving feel and fun

I regret waiting this long to get this mod. This improved the shifter feel so much. It's notchier with shorter throws. I have installed everything except the cable bushings for now, but plan on installing them soon. Installation of the shifter components were pretty easy following the instructions. The hardest part was installing the front shifter base bushings as there was not a lot of room and it seemed very easy to drop parts into the carpet never to be seen again. Just be careful installing these base bushings!

Buy this bundle before any other mods! Must have.

You see the quality in these parts as soon as you inbox them…amazing attention to detail down to how the products come to your door. After install, what a HUGE difference in shifter performance. Even after reading reviews, I wasn’t sure what to expect of this kit (no shade to Acuity - it’s hard to put something like this into a review), so I was blown away after finishing the install. Took about 2 hours to install (I didn’t do the cable bushings yet) and sadly I dropped one of the front shifter base bushings into the abyss under the carpet - that was the most annoying part of the install, not a huge deal but frustrating to work with such little room. All in all, shifting does not feel like an Accord, that’s for sure. It’s been a few years since I sold it, but I honestly think it feels notchier, tighter & shorter than my TWM assembly felt in my 8th gen Si. You 100% need this upgrade - don’t sell yourself or your driving experience short l.
