The ESCO-T6 is the rebirth of ACUiTY's popular ESCO shape in 6061-T6 aluminum. The ESCO design is quickly becoming the preferred drivers' knob due to its carefully-crafted profile. With a 40mm barrel-shaped upper portion, gently domed top, and tapered bottom, the ESCO-T6 fits beautifully in most drivers' hands. While spherical knobs have become popular, the truth is they allow a lot of grip variation when changing gears. By forcing a more consistent hand position through its unique shape, the ESCO-T6 helps to train muscle memory, making shifts more consistent.
The ESCO-T6 weighs in at approximately 185 grams. The mid-weight is meant to provide enough mass to provide a good shift feel without masking feedback from the gearbox. To complement the ergonomic shape, each knob is anodized in a durable satin purple anodized finish and laser engraved with the 6-Speed Honda/Acura gear pattern. Important Note About Shift Boot Fitment:
On many Hondas and Acuras made after 2010, the shift boot clips to the underside of the shift knob. Older vehicles had a shift boot that just sat near the underside of the knob, but did not mate to it. If your shift boot clips to the underside of your shift knob, you should check to see if it clips to a nut or to the knob itself. If the boot clips to a nut, your boot and nut should work with your new Esco knob as well. If the boot clips to the actual OEM shift knob, however, you will need additional parts to prevent the boot from sagging after installation. We currently offer 5 shift boot collars that can correct this issue. The part #'s are 1924-K1 (satin black anodized finish), 1924-K2 (turned stainless steel finish), 1924-K4 (satin red anodized finish), 1924-K5 (burnt titanium finish), and 1924-K6 (satin purple anodized finish).
Similarly, if you have an older vehicle that doesn't have a shift boot that clips to the knob, you can also use the same shift boot collars (1924-K1, 1924-K2, 1924-K4, 1924-K5, 1924-K6) to clip the boot to the knob for a more modern, clean, finished appearance.

Shipments are sent only after payment has been received. ACUITY Instruments LLC reserves the right to delay shipments temporarily if credit card fraud is suspected. ACUITY Instruments LLC ships all orders on the next business day. This means that if you purchase the "next day" shipping option, next day shipping will go out the next day, meaning a total transit time of 2-days. Similarly, 2-day shipping takes 3 days since the order is filled the next day. If you require faster shipping, we recommend you contact one of our vendors that carries inventory.

For your convenience, we offer shipping options with transit times as low as 2 business days. At this time, we do not offer next-day shipping options.
Shipping Insurance and Signature Policy:
Acuity insures all packages it ships. This insurance covers damage to or loss of the product while in transit only. This does not cover theft of the package after delivery. Because of this, a signature is required for delivery of all orders over $100 (before shipping costs). If you will not be available to receive the shipment, many carriers permit the recipient to leave a note on the door instructing them to leave the package. If you choose to do this, please remember that Acuity Instruments LLC cannot insure packages that are stolen.
Free Shipping Options:
Occasionally we offer shipping specials where orders over a certain amount are free. If we are offering this, you will see the free shipping option in your cart at checkout. If no options is visible at checkout, then either there is currently no free shipping offer or you are not in a zone that qualifies for free shipping. Most states in the continental USA qualify when a shipping special is being ordered. There is no choice of carrier for free shipping, but typically we will ship your order will likely ship using either USPS or FedEx. If you'd like a faster delivery, you can opt out of the Free Shipping option in favor of a faster, paid, shipping option.
Taxes on International Shipments:
It is against Acuity's policy to falsify tax documents during the shipment of goods to locations outside of the USA. The tax documents for your shipment will reflect the price you paid for the parts. Please do not contact us requesting us to falsify tax documents so that you do not have to pay taxes on the shipment as we cannot do this.
Guaranteed Times by Carriers and Related Reimbursements:
On some shipping services, like USPS Priority Express, the service provider (USPS, UPS, DHL etc) will offer a shipping reimbursement if the order does not arrive on time. ACUITY does not assume responsibility for tracking these matters. If you suspect your service may have a delivery-time guarantee and was delivered late, please contact us with the order # and delivery info. Please note that a full refund is typically not provided by the carrier. ACUITY does not offer full reimbursement of shipping costs, but ACUITY will pass on 100% of any reimbursement for shipping costs from the carrier to the customer.
Domestic Transit Times:
For orders shipping within the continental USA, USPS First Class shipments will usually take around 5-7 business days for delivery. USPS Priority usually takes closer to 2-4 business days, and Priority Express usually takes about 2 business days. Your exact transit time will vary based on your location.
International Transit Times:
USPS First Class International shipping is very economical, but the transit time can be very slow. Please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery of orders shipped via USPS First Class International. USPS Priority mail is typically faster, normally taking closer to 2 weeks. USPS GXG is faster still, typically taking only about 1 week. Your exact transit times will vary depending on your location, and it is possible that your exact transit time will exceed the values provided here. For best results on international shipments, however, we recommend avoiding USPS options in favor of FedEx, UPS, or DHL shipping methods.
Warranty Requests
All ACUITY products are covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturer defect. Please keep a copy of your receipt as a proof of purchase when contacting ACUITY with a warranty request. Please do not ship back any merchandise without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Contact ACUITY to receive an RMA number.
Returns
Customers are responsible for all return shipping charges. Please do not ship back any merchandise without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Contact ACUITY to receive an RMA number. ACUITY permits returns with no fees if the product is returned within 14 days of delivery, if it is unopened and in its original packaging. If the product has been removed from the original packaging, has not been installed in any way, and requires repackaging but is in 100% sale-able condition (to be determined by ACUITY) a restocking fee will be assessed in an amount equal to the greater of $5 or 10% of the cost of the product. ACUITY will not refund any shipping and handling fees related to a returned purchase. Valid proof of purchase must be provided to receive an RMA number. Any purchases made through one of ACUITY's vendor's are subject to that vendor's return policies. ACUITY cannot accept the return of an item purchased through a vendor without the consent of ACUITY and said vendor.
