Much Needed Refinement for the OEM Shifter
The OEM base bushings on most Hondas and Acuras are made from highly compliant rubber. Thanks to leverage, the small amount of compliance the rubber base bushings add equates to a very noticeable "spongy" feeling in the shift knob during shifts. This bushing kit replaces the OEM rubber bushings with rigid 6061-T651 aluminum making for a much more decisive shift, even with a stock shifter. As an added touch, the bushings are coated in a purple Type 2 anodized finished, laser-etched with torque and driver specs, and paired with class 10.9 screws for strength.

Next-Day Shipping Policy:

This means that if you purchase the "next day" shipping option, next day shipping will go out the next day, meaning a total transit time of 2-days. Similarly, 2-day shipping takes 3 days since the order is filled the next day. If you require faster shipping, we recommend you contact one of our vendors that carries inventory.

Shipping Insurance and Signature Policy:
Acuity insures all packages it ships. This insurance covers damage to or loss of the product while in transit only. This does not cover theft of the package after delivery. Because of this, a signature is required for delivery of all orders over $100 (before shipping costs). If you will not be available to receive the shipment, many carriers permit the recipient to leave a note on the door instructing them to leave the package. If you choose to do this, please remember that Acuity Instruments LLC cannot insure packages that are stolen.
Free Shipping Options:
Occasionally we offer shipping specials where orders over a certain amount are free. If we are offering this, you will see the free shipping option in your cart at checkout. If no options is visible at checkout, then either there is currently no free shipping offer or you are not in a zone that qualifies for free shipping. Most states in the continental USA qualify when a shipping special is being ordered. There is no choice of carrier for free shipping, but typically we will ship your order will likely ship using either USPS or FedEx. If you'd like a faster delivery, you can opt out of the Free Shipping option in favor of a faster, paid, shipping option.
Taxes on International Shipments:
It is against Acuity's policy to falsify tax documents during the shipment of goods to locations outside of the USA. The tax documents for your shipment will reflect the price you paid for the parts. Please do not contact us requesting us to falsify tax documents so that you do not have to pay taxes on the shipment as we cannot do this.
Guaranteed Times by Carriers and Related Reimbursements:
On some shipping services, like USPS Priority Express, the service provider (USPS, UPS, DHL etc) will offer a shipping reimbursement if the order does not arrive on time. ACUITY does not assume responsibility for tracking these matters. If you suspect your service may have a delivery-time guarantee and was delivered late, please contact us with the order # and delivery info. Please note that a full refund is typically not provided by the carrier. ACUITY does not offer full reimbursement of shipping costs, but ACUITY will pass on 100% of any reimbursement for shipping costs from the carrier to the customer.
Domestic Transit Times:
For orders shipping within the continental USA, USPS First Class shipments will usually take around 5-7 business days for delivery. USPS Priority usually takes closer to 2-4 business days, and Priority Express usually takes about 2 business days. Your exact transit time will vary based on your location.
International Transit Times:
USPS First Class International shipping is very economical, but the transit time can be very slow. Please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery of orders shipped via USPS First Class International. USPS Priority mail is typically faster, normally taking closer to 2 weeks. USPS GXG is faster still, typically taking only about 1 week. Your exact transit times will vary depending on your location, and it is possible that your exact transit time will exceed the values provided here. For best results on international shipments, however, we recommend avoiding USPS options in favor of FedEx, UPS, or DHL shipping methods.
Warranty Requests
All ACUITY products are covered by a 1-year warranty against manufacturer defect. Please keep a copy of your receipt as a proof of purchase when contacting ACUITY with a warranty request. Please do not ship back any merchandise without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Contact ACUITY to receive an RMA number.
Returns
Customers are responsible for all return shipping charges. Please do not ship back any merchandise without a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Contact ACUITY to receive an RMA number. ACUITY permits returns with no fees if the product is returned within 14 days of delivery, if it is unopened and in its original packaging. If the product has been removed from the original packaging, has not been installed in any way, and requires repackaging but is in 100% sale-able condition (to be determined by ACUITY) a restocking fee will be assessed in an amount equal to the greater of $5 or 10% of the cost of the product. ACUITY will not refund any shipping and handling fees related to a returned purchase. Valid proof of purchase must be provided to receive an RMA number. Any purchases made through one of ACUITY's vendor's are subject to that vendor's return policies. ACUITY cannot accept the return of an item purchased through a vendor without the consent of ACUITY and said vendor. Hello, I am an owner of a 2019 manual fit from Canada, about 2 or 3 years ago I swapped my stock shifter with an after market shifter, the brand was called WK motorsport, fast forward to mid November this year, the shifter broke due to metal fatigue, there are some pretty flawed design on that shifter, the metal part that handles a lot of stress are skinny and not durable. When the shifter broke, I could only shift into third and fourth, meaning the car is undrivable. I called dealers, the answers I got is the same, OEM shifter assembly is back order and ETA is about 2 months after. Fortunately I have 2 good friends in US, 1 of them sourced the parts (shifter assembly), there were only 2 of them in the entire US, and the other one brought it back to Vamcouver from Seattle.
But I was still missing the bracket mounting point bushings, for these parts, even US dealers have to back order them and ETA is the same 2 months after. I do not want to wait that long, I can't, the fit is my daily driver, I needed it for the daily commute, then I found Acuity Instruments, and I found out they make the aftermarket shifter bracket bushings I needed.
I purchased the aftermaket shifter bracket bushing from them, with a fair price in Canadian dollar! And they shipped the package fast even when its close to Christmas, and I got the parts just 2 days after my order! I placed the order Wednesday night, and I got the package on Friday noon, thanks to the speed of the delivering company, and also thanks to how fast they are able to process my order and ship it out! From Georgia US, to Vancouver BC Canada, 1 and half day in December, I'm in love with this company. The option to purchase in CAD, and the speed and halssle free international shipping made me felt so cared about as a Canadian customer. The product I received also seemed extremely well designed and crafted with even torque specs on it. The next time I plan on modifying my fit, if this company has the part I'm buying it from them, and from the experience I just had with this company, I sincerely recommend this company to any enthusiats that are looking to modify their Hondas. I'm not gonna say anything I can't guarantee for, but I will say Acuity Instruments absolutely deserve to at least be on every honda enthusiasts' option list when it comes to modding.
In the past when I've owned FWD or mid-engine cars that use remote shift shifters with cables or rods, I've always made solid shifter bushings like these a priority because they make SUCH a difference, especially for the money, and these and no different. My Fit's shifting feels much more confident and I noticed I had to place substantially less attention to my shifts while driving, which is great!! Combined with the egg-shaped aluminum RSX Type-R shift knob, it shifts like butter. Just make sure you listen to Acuity when they say to place a towel or something down to prevent the bushings from falling down into the carpet, it's a right pain in the ass to recover one if you drop it.
Made the base feel a tad bit stiffer! I have everything acuity has to offer for my 9th gen accord, I just wish there was a short shifter out there for it!
Awesome look and even stiffens up the shifter base! Plus having the torque specs on the parts themselves takes out second guessing. Love it!
