Each cover is hand-laid from 100% carbon fiber composite, featuring twill weave base layers, a forged carbon top layer and a final coat of gloss PPG clear. ACUiTY's design uses 4 mounting points instead of the 5 used on the OE design; this cleans up the installation while also ensuring a perfect fitment on all applications including the FK8 and FL5 Civic Type R's, the DE5 Integra Type S, and the 10th Gen K20C Accords. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUnique to ACUiTY's design is the use of bonded aluminum mounting points for a more consistent, precise fit and a more premium finished appearance. Since OE mounting screws are not compatible with this design, black, OE-style mounting screws are supplied. Just like on ACUiTY's world-famous shifters, technical markings have been added with callouts for oil fill, oil level, and tightening torque.
