You can't wear heels in a race car:
But that doesn't mean you shouldn't be able to hell/toe in one. Anyone that has take a Gk5 Fit to the track can tell you that the default pedal positions make using a heel-toe technique incredibly difficult, if not impossible. The solution? Move the throttle pedal toward the driver, better aligning the brake and accelerator pedals. The ACUITY Throttle Pedal Spacer (or more technically, Accelerator Pedal Relocation Bracket), helps resolve this problem by providing three unique new positions for your accelerator pedal. In addition to moving the pedal toward the driver, the ACUITY Throttle Pedal Spacer allows you to move the pedals closer together, laterally, to aid drivers with narrow feet.
The ACUITY Throttle Pedal Spacer allows the driver to select one of 3 possible non-stock pedal locations. Each location provides a slightly different driving feel. We recommend trying them all to find what suits you best. Below is a brief description of each position.
- Position A moves the throttle pedal closest to the driver
- Position B is slightly further from the driver than Position A and slightly closer to the brake pedal, laterally
- Position C is furthest from the driver (still much closer than stock) and also moves the accelerator pedal closer to the brake pedal, laterally, like Position B

I was super excited to hear that Acuity had an accelerator pedal relocation bracket in the works and it finally released on 10/3! First off, Acuity has ridiculously fast shipping. The next day my product was shipped out and the day after that it's installed in my car. You don't get that kind of service just anywhere...
Installation was silly smooth. The only difficult part for me was installing the allen bolts because I don't have an allen socket. I had to use an allen key which works just fine, but you're a bit tight on space down in your footwell area. Invest in the allen socket and make your life easy! :)
As for the product itself, quality was top-notch; no surprise there. The bracket provides the user with 3 position settings. Truth be told, I only tried out "B" and "C." In the end, I opted for "C" because it brings the pedal closer to the brake pedal and also places it lower by 11mm. I found this to be the most comfortable setting for me.
Thank you Acuity for another great product!
